COMMITMENT

From now on my danish text is to be found below, but this post only comes in english (my english is so bad when I translate from Danish, therefore I now try to do something else, something differently - I write the post in english first, yay haha). Once again I'm sharing some of my deeper thoughts and some decisions I have made to live a life of purpose (I've been living like that in the past years, but without making a 100 % commitment). I have always wanted to change a few things in the way I structure my day, to get better at different things and to start on things that made me feel happy such as reading, dancing, workout, time off (without work, no phone), travelling, time with my family, editing videos etc. I might have a feeling of what has caused the change - the decision of making a 100 % commitment now, but let's skip that and focus on what I have started to change!

What makes you happy? I have been dancing almost my whole life, and with a loong break and no exercise I started dealing with different side effects such as lack of profits, bloated stomach (very badly) and I was kinda "stuck" in a circle of negative thinking (compared to how I used to 'be'). From one day to another (2 month ago) I woke up and decided to change. Now I workout almost every day (short workouts) and I start to dance again from september/oktober when I'm back from my travels.

Listen to your body: For a very long time I have wanted to start on doing yoga, because I have som challenges by breathing "correctly", I don't know how to explain it, but I feel like I unconsciously hold my breath during the day, and it makes me feel unconfortable. Futhermore I have problems with my lower back - well, I start on hot yoga with 2 of my friends from september, and I'm so excited, yay!

Ask for help: I have always been a "do'er" and believed that I was able to accomplish my dreams, but suddenly destructive thoughts appeared and hold me back from living my full potential. What to do when there is none to tell you the answer? No one to show you what way to go or follow? (I mean, I don't go to school or a regular job with a boss to tell me what to do). I decided to do something which was one of the most difficult things, I have ever done: show and tell everyone I wasn't sure about anything! My friends, my boyfriend - and my family. My blog is personal but not that private I think? THAT WAS PRIVATE TO SHARE, but I had to do something to move on and admit I needed support (and thank you for that). I arranged meetings with talented people to give me feedback, I spent 5 days with my family with absolutely no work to figure out how to move on, and I was the girlfriend I never ever want to be! The one without a goal, the one who took more energy than I gave (sorry, but I'm back on track <3 ). It all helped and now I have turned it into something good: for a long time I have wanted to read much more and of course I want to get smarter eventhough I dont go to school - so I read books that boost my mindset and knowledge (often business books).

Time & Social media: I never feel like having enough time, and right now I am reading "the miracle morning" which has made a huge impact on me, and I'm going to try its secret: to wake up an hour earlier than usual to do 4-6 things that makes a difference for you and your succes in life (google it, you will never regret it). That means I'm going to wake up at 6 am (follow me on snapchat and see the results! - Pottejensen). Every night I waste my time on social media (I just scroll and use over 1 hour every night on doing nothing, 1 HOUR!) One week ago I decided to change that, so now I listen to audiobooks and my social media is not allowed when I go to bed.

New language: My boyfriend speaks danish, english, spanish and arabic (well, what a show off, haha), but my point is: for such a long time I have wanted to learn spanish or at least understand it, and the fact that he is able to help me.. why haven't I started?! Now I have started on a daily course (it's a cool app called duolingo) and everything I learn I write down to get even better, and we have agreed to practise my spanish over breakfast or dinner (one of the 4-6 things I do in the morning is practising for 10-15 minutes).

This morning:I woke up at 6 am and made a glass of water and a cup of tea. I found my notes I made last night that said what to do for the next hour (I do this because I'm reading the miracle morning) and I've decided to share these notes with you, maybe it could be an inspiration to yours.

My miracle moring: 10 minutes of reading in the miracle morning (because I never have time to read). 10 minutes of meditation where I focus on my breath (like i mentioned above, I feel like holding my breath during the day). 10 minutes where I write down things I'm grateful for and different affirmations (it make me feel positive and ready for the day). 10-15 minutes of practising spanish. 10 minutes on my visionboard, where I write down all my dreams I want to come true (and how to do it). After this wonderful hour, I had my breakfast with my boyfriend and I'm about to get ready for the day (before 10 am all my mails are done, and I'll be out and about shooting video for Frederiksberg, meeting with @karolinedall and a meeting with Visit Frederiksberg's new intern).

When people say "don't look back" I always remember to add: unless it's to see how fare you've come! I often forget where I started, and my family is always the ones to remind me. Nomatter what you do, always remember; if there is something you want to change, you are the only one to do it! Your past does not equal your future - start to become the person you need to create the succes, freedom and quality of life that you really want. That's what I do. Thank you for your time. Btw: I want to get better at english, so hopefully you still understand my post eventhough it might contain some misspellings (I don't even know if this is the right word to use, haha). Have a lovely day!

Love, CC
